Cool Arrangements of Classic Songs submitted by Meginator on August 27, 2022, 10:04pm These orchestral arrangements provide a different perspective on classic Disney songs, occasionally with vocal accompaniment. The arrangements have excellent balance to them and often place the melody in unexpected areas, giving the songs a different feeling from their original soundtrack versions. The song selection itself is unusually strong for the “Disney Does X” genre, including a few of the usual suspects but consisting mostly of less-replayed selections from the major films and representation from Disney’s most recent animated films. This gives the album a unique feeling and makes it a great choice for anyone who is otherwise burned out on hearing the same ten songs on every Disney compilation.
