Cheerful, Charming Valentine's Tale submitted by Meginator on August 8, 2023, 11:18am This is another excellent addition to the Tiny T. Rex series, this time finding the slightly hapless dinosaur attempting to make the perfect valentine for his friend Pointy. The story has a slightly different ending than I expected from the buildup, although it more or less get the same point across. Much of the book’s humor comes from the illustrations and the character design; the bold and colorful pictures tell the story along with Tiny T. Rex’s hilarious, matter-of-fact narration. This is a wonderful read-aloud book with a lovely message about friendship at its core, and it doesn’t sacrifice its storytelling for the sake of getting the moral across. As a bonus, this works for all seasons and not just for Valentine’s Day.
