Such an important book! submitted by Xris on June 14, 2021, 11:30pm I am so grateful that this book has been written, to document the history that some Americans want to stay buried. I wish I had known about it earlier in my life, but at least I know about it now. I'd like to visit the timeline where Black Wall Street was able to continue and thrive, to see what America would be like now. The humanity and lives lost must be remembered and taught in our schools!

Read This Book submitted by betsywil on August 1, 2021, 6:53pm This topic is a tough one for a picture book - and an important one for ALL of us to know about.

Read the book and read the backmatter, to read and discuss the book with the kids in your life.
