Artful and realistic submitted by kkjammers on May 5, 2021, 9:51am Engberg's novel is a fast-paced, thrilling whodunit. I confess partiality to the Danes, being one myself. The story is a smooth and nuanced read although translated from the Danish. I have visited many of the places mentioned in the book, and have even been treated in the ER of the old Bispebjerg Hospital (due to a bike accident), one of the novel's significant locations. The author describes the importance of the transportation system that biking is in Copenhagen and characterizes Danes accurately. I highly recommend this absorbing novel.

Beginning is a little slow submitted by emlunning on July 6, 2023, 10:24pm Good read, the beginning is a little slow and figured out the ending.

Danish mystery submitted by MHZ on August 3, 2023, 10:00am The description of the setting is interesting and I liked the characters enough to be invested. Worthwhile if you like this sort of mystery - on the thriller side.
