Fatima (2020) submitted by leighsprauer on March 3, 2024, 10:30am This is a very good movie. Often movies about faith, or saints, or miracles are either corny or condescending, and this was neither. Like the movie "Silence," the director sometimes chose to portray supernatural moments with out-of-focus or jumpy camera-work, which seems odd to me: I'm curious how many encounters of the Divine actually produce extreme clarity rather than confusion and failure of the senses. But I can overlook that given how well the rest of the movie is done.
