COMMUNITY REVIEWS

This cookbook is speaking my language submitted by eileenw on June 12, 2022, 12:33pm An entire cookbook that throws recipes here and there the way I do when I'm trying to explain or suggest to friends. In this, it's rather refreshing. Dont expect it to be highly structured or expand your cooking horizons overmuch. Instead, expect themes and variations within them (which is pretty much the way I cook and learn when I play and experiment in the kitchen). In short: this cookbook speaks my language.

For example, there's a section on roasted cauliflower; a roasting method is described for cooking an entire, uncut head of cauliflower, followed by four variations on that theme (four different seasoning blends to prepare the cauliflower with before following the initial roasting instructions). This "theme & variation" style permeates the cookbook.
