Good, But Overwhelmingly Male submitted by Meginator on August 27, 2022, 7:00pm Though this compilation of R&B Christmas music lacks balance between old and new and is painfully, overwhelmingly male, it is a great collection of classic holiday songs that focuses on the singers’ wonderful vocal talents. The album has a nice mix of original songs and classic carols, with many of the artists coming out of Motown’s golden age, and notably includes some bittersweet songs among songs of celebration. This is an essential compilation for anyone who enjoys using music to get into the spirit of the season.
