The television series is a spinoff from the popular Breaking Bad television show. The series takes place six years before the events of Breaking Bad and features small-time lawyer Jimmy McGill. The series follows the exploits of Jimmy and the circumstances that lead to his metamorphosis into criminal-minded lawyer Saul Goodman.

Choose Wisely and Face the Consequences submitted by Meginator on July 4, 2022, 9:20am Better Call Saul is better than ever in this season, which sees Jimmy McGill’s Saul Goodman persona coming increasingly to the fore as the feud between the Salamanca cartel (now under the leadership of yet another cousin, Lalo) and Gus Fring rapidly escalates into a new level of violence. By the end of the season, Jimmy/Saul, Kim, and Mike have all made important choices that seem to set their fates, and the season finale leaves a lot of room for ambiguity in season six; this is no small feat, given the fact that the immediate futures of Saul and Mike are already known to viewers of “Breaking Bad”. The acting is incredible, the tension is palpable, and the series shows a remarkable amount of control in the way that it slowly maneuvers its characters into place for the big moments, which are much more rewarding as a result. The series couldn’t be in a better position heading into its final season.
