Sequel to: American royals.
In an alternate America, tensions are high as Beatrice prepares to become the country's first queen, while Princess Samantha and Prince Jefferson struggle to decide what their futures might hold.
Power is intoxicating. Like first love, it can leave you breathless. Princess Beatrice was born with it. Princess Samantha was born with less. Some, like Nina Gonzalez, are pulled into it. And a few will claw their way in-- like Daphne Deighton. As America adjusts to the idea of a queen on the throne, Beatrice grapples with everything she lost when she gained the ultimate crown. Samantha is busy living up to her "party princess" persona-- and maybe adding a party prince by her side. Nina is trying to avoid the palace-- and Prince Jefferson-- at all costs. And a dangerous secret threatens to undo all of Daphne's carefully laid plans to marry Prince Jefferson. -- adapted from jacket

Missing excitement submitted by patpatel3025 on June 26, 2021, 7:50pm This sequel definitely missed the excitement and pager turners that the first book had. Midway thru the ending was predictable.

Interesting submitted by DL on June 30, 2021, 10:05pm I liked being able to find out more of the story. Tough decisions in this interesting story, if America had kings and queens instead of presidents.

Sequel to American Royals submitted by pamhockey25 on September 2, 2021, 2:17pm With the death of her father, Beatrice becomes the first queen of America and all the challenges that entails. Definitely read American Royals first. New relationships are developed and things don't develop quite like you might expect at the end of the first book. However, the developments seems realistic, and I'm looking forward to book #3!
