"The story of Bella and Edward from "Twilight" told from Edward's point of view takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire. As we learn more fascinating details about Edward's past and the complexity of his inner thoughts, we understand why this is the defining struggle of his life. How can he justify following his heart if it means leading Bella into danger?-- Provided by publisher.

Not for me anymore submitted by varshiniramaraj on June 13, 2021, 6:26pm I loved Twilight back in my teens and when this came out, really wanted to see how I felt about it - I got the audiobook through Libby. Not really for me anymore, also the justifying of the age difference really felt gnarly to me.

Annoying how much I liked this submitted by clk.9123 on August 21, 2022, 5:22pm Obviously it’s Twilight, so take that for what it is. Groundbreaking at the time - SUPER cringe years later. But, it was very interesting to read Edward’s POV and cringe-ness aside, it wasn’t too bad and I found myself enjoying this read. That ultimately surprised me because Twilight etc. is not for me anymore, I’m too old for it and have grown in taste but even so, I think you can go back and read this and be in that world again!
