"After forming a coalition of human resistance against the enemy invasion, Dalinar Kholin and his Knights Radiant have spent a year fighting a protracted, brutal war. Neither side has gained an advantage, and the threat of a betrayal by Dalinar's crafty ally Taravangian looms over every strategic move. Now, as new technological discoveries by Navani Kholin's scholars begin to change the face of the war, the enemy prepares a bold and dangerous operation. The arms race that follows will challenge the very core of the Radiant ideals, and potentially reveal the secrets of the ancient tower that was once the heart of their strength. At the same time that Kaladin Stormblessed must come to grips with his changing role within the Knights Radiant, his Windrunners face their own problem: As more and more deadly enemy Fused awaken to wage war, no more honorspren are willing to bond with humans to increase the number of Radiants. Adolin and Shallan must lead the coalition's envoy to the honorspren stronghold of Lasting Integrity and either convince the spren to join the cause against the evil god Odium, or personally face the storm of failure."--Publisher.

Epic, and wonderful submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on June 18, 2021, 9:25pm I recently finished a 600 page book that was hard to keep picking up. This 1200 page book was hard to put down. Everything depends on the storytelling skill of the author. Sanderson is a brilliant worldbuilder, and I remain completely hooked. I loved this fourth of five volumes of the Stormlight Archives. An epic story at its finest, and I’m looking forward to the last installment.

Amazing read, not my favorite Sanderson book but not by much submitted by bahr on July 23, 2021, 10:54pm Sanderson has done it again and packed this book with so many great moments; most I didn't see coming, and some I spent the WHOLE BOOK waiting for it to happen and it was worth the wait. And just like any good book in a series, this one raises far more questions than it answers and you'll be wishing Book 5 was coming out tomorrow. For sure if you've read any of the Stormlight Archives you shouldn't hesitate to pick this up!

Rhythm of War submitted by SBNB on June 21, 2022, 10:25pm This is another great book in the Stormlight Archive series! Yes, it's huge. So huge that I had to pack an extra bag just for the book when I took it up north with me. But it was worth it! I can't wait for the next one.

I wish I could read it again for the first time! submitted by ohheyitselle on June 23, 2023, 1:04pm The title says it all! I've loved this series and each book keeps me coming back for more!
