Another one of Coelho’s parable books submitted by shimmeringfalls on February 14, 2021, 2:06am This is a book written in parables. Every page is meant to make you stop and reflect on your internal state of being as it is balanced/or in imbalance with what your society has taught you. It is a meditation on “where are you now?” Not his best work, but it is a decent rendition of how to self reflect and, concurrently, how the give back to society. We are only here on the planet from r a short speck in time: how did d you receive your lessons, how did you grow from them, and how do d you return the favor so that humankind can continue to grow and evolve. C’est tout.

Requires multiple reads submitted by phuhn on August 8, 2022, 6:34pm This is a very short story but requires multiple reads to reflect on what it is saying. Deep reflection on the art of doing something.
