She's Still Got It submitted by Meginator on July 11, 2021, 12:40pm This album is very low-key and generally cheerful, its minimal instrumental arrangements bringing the lyrics and vocals to the fore. The songs have a classic and sunny singer-songwriter vibe to them, with the lyrics bringing a confessional air that feels emotionally honest but never becomes too dark. This is more in line with “Amanda Leigh” than with Moore’s earlier bubblegum pop, and the transition to a more mature style suits her talents really well. Moore is woefully underrated and she finds a wonderful depth here that never takes itself too seriously. Highly recommended.
