COMMUNITY REVIEWS

As of today, submitted by GJBarnett2 on July 25, 2020, 11:19am July 25, 2020, AADL's catalog lists 16 titles by James Patterson published this year including fiction, non-fiction and juvenile titles, some but not all of which are "co-authored" by others. In other words, Patterson writes books faster than most people read them. The extent of his actual personal contribution to these is questionable and in this case I find no trace of skill consistent with his experience and reputation. In the first pages, the protagonist proves that he lacks the judgment and leadership skills of a Boy Scout troop leader, let alone a senior Secret Service agent in charge of a team on the Presidential Protection Detail. And it just doesn't get a lot better. There's lots of much better stuff under Patterson's byline. Find it.
