Very Touristy; Misses the Heart submitted by Meginator on June 23, 2021, 5:56pm This documentary offers a touristy overview of the Emerald Isle, with an emphasis on a few selected destinations. The film spends an inordinate amount of time on too small a number of specific places (such as the Guinness Storehouse and Blarney Castle), but the visuals are lovely and give a real feel for the various types of experiences that Ireland has to offer. I watched this for a bit of nostalgia myself, but I think it would prove useful to anyone in the beginning stages of planning a visit to Ireland (assuming you’re reading this after the covid times), in conjunction with printed travel guides and other resources.
