The animation was stunning, and the voice acting was top-notch, especially from Tom Holland and Chris Pratt. The film's unique concept of blending fantasy with modern life was intriguing, but at times, the pacing felt a bit off, leaving me wanting more depth in certain scenes. Nonetheless, the heartfelt message about brotherly love and the emotional finale were truly touching. Overall, "Onward" is a decent animated adventure, but it falls short of reaching its full potential.

A sweet story about Brothers submitted by Margaret on August 6, 2023, 12:57am This is one of Pixar’s more under appreciated movies. I loved the storyline of the two brothers going on a personal journey and connecting. The animation is still one of Pixar’s best elements. I really loved the voices of Chris Pratt and Tom Holland as the two brothers Ian and Barley. Julia Louis Dreyfus did a great job playing the boys’ mother and octavia Spencer was great as the manticore. I do recommend this if you’re looking for a fantasy story about two brothers going on a personal quest. It is well worth a watch.
