Beautifully Sophisticated Large-Format Lift-the-Flap submitted by aynsley on June 15, 2022, 4:17pm This book is so much fun! It's like a lift-the-flap book for older kids. The book itself is very large (at least 9x12, maybe 11x17). Each page has several lift-the-flaps with very detailed information about the life cycle of plants and the cycle of seasons. I would not get this for a very young child as it could tear easily. My 5-year-old enjoyed it but got a little bored halfway through because of too many details. I'd say it would be perfect for a whimsical 8-year-old interested in plants, gardening, or life science. As an adult with a black thumb myself, I thought it was super cool and learned a lot as well!
