Pleasantly surprised submitted by Emily LB on July 30, 2023, 6:45pm I was so pleasantly surprised by this book. I’ve read many books by Keyes, but not in many years. This book follows different members of a large extended family through challenges that rise and fall over the course of a year. I found it gripping while still being light enough to read before bed. 4/5
