Ok submitted by nharmon on August 2, 2020, 10:26am I never seen the original musical, figures this newer adaptation would hold my kids interest but they still can’t figure out what a jellicle cat is even after google. I realize it is based on a book of poems so maybe will understand better after reading those.

It's as bad as it's reputation. submitted by generic username on August 17, 2020, 2:58pm Skip the 2019 version of "Cats" unless you're compiling a bad movie list. Even the good songs are not performed as well as they have been. Instead watch the 1998 version of "Cats" which included members of the original London cast and was produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
