"New things can be tricky, but never you fret--it's time to make friends with the Magical Yet!"--Cover
Each of us, from the day we're born, is accompanied by a special companion--the Yet. Can't tie your shoes? Yet! Can't ride a bike? Yet! Can't play the bassoon? Don't worry, Yet is there to help you out. The Magical Yet is the perfect tool for parents and educators to turn a negative into a positive when helping children cope with the inevitable difficult learning moments we all face. Whether a child or an adult, this encouraging and uplifting book reminds us that we all have things we haven't learned...yet!

I’d recommend this book. submitted by rea2mill on July 21, 2022, 8:08pm The idea conveyed in this book is that you can take any kid sentence in the tone of, “I can’t do it…” and add “yet” and suddenly where you saw failure is just a starting place towards learning something new. Yet becomes personified as a cute little magical sprite that cheers you on as you keep trying, and believes in you even when you’re not sure of yourself. The whole story is done in rhyme. It got a pretty good reception from our kids, 3 & 5 years, and has even gotten some repeat requests since our friends gifted it to us.

A wonderful book for kids and adults submitted by Margaret on August 4, 2023, 5:01pm I came across this book as a recommendation. Last year I read it for “March is reading month” at the school I work at. The kids and the teachers loved it. It’s not only beautifully illustrated, but it leaves a very powerful message about how you have something “yet” to master. I even attached an art project to it as a result of what the kids had learned from the book. I bought the book and it is still one of my personal favorites to read the children at school. If you haven’t read it “yet”, you really need to check it out.
