Great Balance, Cool Jazz submitted by Meginator on July 11, 2021, 12:37pm What a fantastic jazz recording! Even though Thelonious Monk is featured, the improvisational focus on most tracks is on the trumpet and it shines wonderfully. The tracks are generally fairly mellow, with a few influences from bop but mostly sitting comfortably in a cool jazz mode. I could listen to this all day long.
