Bold and brazen Jeanie has a lot to cope with. Her mom is divorced and desperate, her friends abuse drugs and alcohol, and on top of it all, she has to deal with immature Valley boys and "boring" North Hollywood High. Luckily she's got dancing, disco and her rebel gal pals to party with till she drops! But when her best friend Annie runs off to get away from her abusive, father, Jeanie has to grow up fast-- or lose her friend forever.
