Charlize!!! submitted by Will O on August 26, 2020, 10:26am Where the f*ck was Charlize Theron's Oscar? The look, the voice, the everything. By far the standout and another amazing performance even if the movie around her wasn't always as good as she was.
The first two thirds of the movie were solid and moved really well but the last third fizzled out a little and didn't quite stick the landing.
Margot Robbie was also really good as usual and Kate McKinnon toned down her usual schtick to deliver a more grounded and interesting performance as a closeted Democrat working as a staffer at Fox.
Overall a solid watch with good performances and a timely message abou the living hell of being a woman but needed a better resolution/wrap up at the end to truly be great.
