Uneven submitted by GJBarnett2 on August 29, 2020, 11:11pm This is a long book, 435 pages and about halfway through the style of writing changes sharply with sections by a third-party narrator. Later, the narration largely disappears. I suspect the original manuscript was just too long and trimmed it by replacing some of the exposition with briefer narration. Not a good outcome.
