Wonderful Adventure submitted by flemingj on July 20, 2020, 10:14am I am so glad that I stumbled across this delightful middle grades book. So much excitement in this fast paced story. My students will love it and will be learning a little Native American culture along the way.

Amazing Navajo Speculative Fiction submitted by izzygreta on August 1, 2020, 3:10pm My kids (5th and 6th grade) and I LOVED this book. We are big Percy Jackson fans and making our way through all the "Rick Riordan Presents" books (Arun Shah, Storm Runner, etc.). The story is suspenseful and exciting - my normal 10 pages a night quickly evolved into 20-30. The characters are well-developed. The Navajo culture and mythology is amazing. I just requested all Roanhorse's adult books for myself and my kids requested a bunch of Navajo books.

Great middle-grade reader by Roanhorse submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on July 31, 2021, 9:52pm This will be right up the alley for readers who love Dan Gutman’s _The Genius Files_ or Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson books. Set in the modern world but in the Diné (Navajo) tradition, it’s full of action and adventure, with strong characters, interesting monsters/bad guys (but who aren’t *too* scary), and well-defined trials and tribulations along the way. Much fun for 9-12 year old readers.
