I wanted to like it submitted by Krystal on July 20, 2020, 2:26pm I had trouble getting going with this one, which is strange, because I've always enjoyed the series. I was looking for more story and less time in the main character's head.

Disappointing submitted by keldan315 on July 22, 2023, 9:51pm I used to really enjoy this series, but this one was very disappointing. I hope the series hasnt "jumped the shark." It seems that the author felt like she needed to continue to up the ante with each book, but at this point there's too much emotional turmoil and drama and too little storyline. The star of the story is usually the crime/mystery, but this one focuses a lot on mental turmoil.
