"Six years after a global pandemic wiped out most of the planet's population, the survivors are rebuilding the country, split between self-governing cities, hippie communes and wasteland gangs. Krista, Moira, Rob and Sunny are brought together by circumstance, and their lives begin to twine together. But when reports of another outbreak throw the fragile society into panic, the friends are forced to finally face everything that came before - and everything they still stand to lose. Because sometimes having one person is enough to keep the world going."--Publisher description.

a hopeful "dystopia" submitted by nemiller on June 27, 2022, 7:51pm Despite the dystopian premise (would you believe this came out in January 2020?) it's actually a book about hope, found family, and second chances. Not to mention, an amazing adventure! The pacing is great, and it's interesting to see how everything unfolds from alternating view points.
Began in March 2020... submitted by leah karr on August 19, 2022, 1:01pm I began reading this book in early March 2020....weird. It's a dystopian story about family and survival. If non-zombie end times books are your thing (they are mine!) this is a good read. For reference, I found this book by searching "If Station Eleven is your favorite book, you may like...."
