You are going to want to be dedicated to Fleetwood Mac submitted by Firehawk on November 11, 2023, 12:29pm I assume this album is giving us a authentic listen to Fleetwood Mac from 1968 to 1970.
Almost all of it is unoriginal.
By that I mean these are classic blues tunes from other artists or original blues songs copied from classic blues tunes. And that goes on for three CDs.

I can understand that at the time the classic blues masters were not available in late 60's London.
I understand that these guys (and other bands) produced great blues to satisfy the crowds.
But now these are 50 years old and the classic blues tunes they mimicked are 60-70 years old.
I'll go back to the original master blues players that Fleetwood Mac copied.

There are two glimpses Peter Greens genius rock songwriting: "The Green Manalishi (with the Two Pronged Crown)" and "Oh Well". I was looking forward to this 11 minute version of Green Manalishi.
Unfortunately, the actual song lasts for three minutes and the rest is an unrelated solo which, afterwords, doesn't even reprise the Green Manalishi theme.

The recording seems distant with the vocals even more distant.
I would think with modern production techniques, the vocal tracks could have been much better.
