Old Vocals, New Instrumentals submitted by Meginator on June 18, 2023, 12:32pm This album sets Bing Crosby’s classic vocal tracks to new orchestral arrangements (and occasionally adds new vocal accompaniments), providing a new perspective on these well-known recordings while preserving much of the nostalgia that keeps them in rotation decades after their initial creation. Because it is aiming squarely for an audience that is already familiar with the music, the album offers few surprises, but it does hit a nice balance of the traditional 50s Christmas feeling and something a little newer and more dynamic.
