This Action Film Is as Solid as The Rock submitted by Meginator on August 17, 2020, 11:26pm This is a great action film, taking two of the Fast & Furious franchise’s standout characters and pairing them in an odd couple relationship that works really well here. The overall tone is relatively light and comedic, but the film is still packed with explosions, chases, and fight scenes, as well as a few brilliantly preposterous stunts that are an absolute joy to watch. The plot is serviceable, balancing character development and high stakes with the requisite twists, and the stars’ chemistry carries its weaker moments. Big-budget action movies as good as this one are rare, but they’re so fun when they do appear.

Not Worth Watching submitted by Maria Maguire on August 5, 2023, 11:52pm My least favorite in the franchise. The movie feels long, and the stunts aren't fun enough to make up for it. (Although wre was a pretty fun motorcycle chase scene.) I enjoyed Hobbes' character at the end of the Fate of the Furious, but in this movie they only play on his beef with The Rock and he lacks what made him fun in previous films. The Rock's character continues to grate on me. A skip unless you are dedicated to watching the entire franchise.
