Love this book for ideas on what to make when I don't want the same old same old sides submitted by eileenw on August 6, 2022, 3:56pm This giant book is hard to get your hands on November through December because everyone wants to check it out to plan their holiday meals! The recipes are plentiful, and what I liked about it was that about 60% of them were well within my comfort zone but offered some new trains of thought to get me out of a rut of always making the same thing every week. The other 40% broke out of the Midwestern Comfort Food mold. Sometimes you want a little variation, and sometimes you want a lot of variation -- or so I feel, and so I liked this cookbook a great deal.
