COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Love her books submitted by Xris on December 19, 2020, 4:23pm I love how she takes history and makes a beautiful story about it, with characters that you become invested in. I didn't know much about Spain and the Franco regime, but now that I've learned a little bit, I'd like to know more. I've been looking up the articles about the Stolen Babies too. Highly recommend!

A bit above the intended age level submitted by smgop on July 20, 2022, 9:47am Content is intended for more mature audiences than teenagers... she writes rich characters and tackles tough topics, but I wouldn't recommend her books to anyone under college age, honestly.

Excellent YA submitted by ahlalejini on July 20, 2022, 4:00pm This was a great book that pushes past YA and into adult

Intense and eye opening submitted by alisonhatch94 on July 20, 2022, 8:40pm I love Ruta Sepetys' work and this book was a really fun read. I always learn so much from her books and this time I went in knowing nothing about Spain and it's history. I love how she perfectly weaves history into the characters' stories, it makes it so fun and exciting to learn.

One of my favorite books! submitted by djmartin on June 16, 2023, 7:17pm I loved this book, and pretty much anything by this author. She does a great job of introducing the different historical settings, without it being too overwhelming. I absolutely recommend this to both teens and adults!
