New favorite Jeffers book submitted by jacks404 on July 28, 2021, 7:50am This book has a nice cadence and lots to talk about with kids even though the story is simple. A bit dark at the end but we sort of liked that bit. Love Oliver Jeffers illustrations and colors. There is also a page at the very end that contains a conversation between Vonnegut and Heller that is perfect. We will be buying a copy of this book.

Not in the same age range as his other books submitted by rea2mill on July 5, 2022, 2:59pm My kids ( 3 & 5 years) normally love every Oliver Jeffers book, but they quit listening half way through this one. The book seems to be about the concept of capitalism and how that doesn’t really fit into nature. Not really content for the younger readers.
