a fantastic anthology! submitted by nemiller on June 27, 2022, 8:08pm A great mix - different cultures, different styles, different relationships to the myth itself, from retelling to reimagining to simply referencing it.

I think they put one of the weakest stories first, maybe because the author is a Big Deal. So even if you don't love the first story, keep reading! Some of the stories hit very close to the heart, and some are simply delightful, but almost every one of them is an absolute gem.
