The best little kid hiking book submitted by KimB on August 27, 2020, 2:03pm Of all the hiking and nature books I've read, this is by far my favorite. The characters are diverse (in skin color, talents, abilities, and interests), the story is simple but interesting, the illustrations are good and (as far as I can tell) accurate. The best part is that all of the little things in each scene are labeled, so when my toddler points to something and asks what it is, I can answer specifically (not just "flower," but the type). We've both learned a lot!

Fun and good for a variety of younger ages submitted by lola.b on June 16, 2021, 7:38pm This is such a fun hiking/nature book! The story is simple but the illustrations are so good. There are so many informative details in the illustrations that it makes the book perfect for a variety of ages--younger readers can focus on the pictures and simple plot while older readers can learn cool details about nature! Big fan!
