An alternate view of America submitted by pamhockey25 on August 13, 2021, 11:43am What if George Washington was the first King of the US instead of the first president? What would life here in the US be like today with a royal family? This is the first of a series and it starts out with a Princess in love with a commoner and the decisions she has to make because of her royal obligations. Should be an interesting series!
Amazing concept, average writing style submitted by asangtani on July 4, 2023, 10:58pm In this series, George Washington is the first king of the United States instead of the first president and now, in present day, the royal family has three children. The concept of the series (American Royals) is pretty cute, but the writing style is pretty average. In this book, a lot of the focus is on Bea, the princess with a sick/dying dad poised to take over the country and her love for her bodyguard who is obviously an unsuitable mate for her versus the man planned for her, Teddy.
