"Over the last eighteen years, much has been written and said about the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and the profound impact they had on America and the world. But those names, stories, and memories have never before been collected in one place to tell the full, 360-degree story of what happened that day, and in the days after."

Revelatory Reading submitted by Beth Manuel on August 10, 2020, 3:47pm I was intrigued by the premise of this book and indeed, it revealed aspects of the day that I'd wondered about since 9/11/01. The recollections that people shared were touching and frightening. To hear what the Verizon operator recalled from the hijacked plane in Pennsylvania that was headed toward the White House was breathtaking. There were accounts of people trapped inside and out of the locations that were hit by the terrorist attacks. There's a lot to take in, just as there was on the day that it occurred. This book can bring up a lot of emotions and isn't for the faint of heart or if you're looking for light reading.
