"In the next highly anticipated installment of Lee Child's acclaimed suspense series, Jack Reacher comes to the aid of an elderly couple...and confronts his most dangerous opponents yet. This isn't one of those times. Reacher is on a Greyhound bus, minding his own business, with no particular place to go, and all the time in the world to get there. Then he steps off the bus to help an old man who is obviously just a victim waiting to happen. But you know what they say about good deeds. Now Reacher wants to make it right. An elderly couple have made a few well-meaning mistakes, and now they owe big money to some very bad people. One brazen move leads to another, and suddenly Reacher finds himself a wanted man in the middle of a brutal turf war between rival Ukrainian and Albanian gangs. Reacher has to stay one step ahead of the loan sharks, the thugs, and the assassins. He teams up with a fed-up waitress who knows a little more than she's letting on, and sets out to take down the powerful and make the greedy pay. It's a long shot. The odds are against him. But Reacher believes in a certain kind of justice...the kind that comes along once in a blue moon."--provided by publisher.

Cartoon Characters submitted by Kgilroy on November 10, 2019, 8:45am I have previously enjoyed the Reacher novels but this one is filled with gratuitous killing and dehumanizes Reacher.
The plot is farfetched and full of holes.

pretty good submitted by rats on April 7, 2020, 3:06pm I'm a fan of the Jack Reacher novels. I always give them the benefit of the doubt. I usually don't have to work so hard to believe in the action as I did with Blue Moon. Plus, there seemed to be more murders than usual. I do like the character looking out for the vulnerable, and this book seems to me to be one where that is more obvious than usual. Child continues to explain logical choices despite this being his 24th Jack Reacher novel. Spoiler alert: This is the first time I remember Reacher asking his "love interest" to come with him on the road.

Blue Moon submitted by ksbombery on June 29, 2020, 3:37pm I am a huge Jack Reacher fan but I did not enjoy this book as much as the previous ones. Did not show Reacher’s intelligence and problem solving well. Plot seemed to ramble and I felt “bored” a couple of times. A new feeling for me in this series.

Disappointing submitted by mandevil on July 31, 2020, 12:11pm I am a Reacher fan, but this one not so much. Reacher usually uses his brainpower instead of just blasting away the bad guys. He tends to use logic instead of bullets. Also, he works alone. Not this time, he just happens to meet some other military types and they quickly and easily go along with his killing spree?
