Outstanding end to a compelling series submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on June 17, 2020, 9:07pm 5/5 for the book and the series! What an outstanding end to a compelling series. Don’t get me wrong… you have to invest to read five 1,000 page books… but I don’t think I could ask for anything better. The universe is fully realized. The characters are well rounded, with strengths, weaknesses, growth, challenges, love, loss, work, play, and interactions that shape and change them. The story line weaves and crosses and intersects various plots, goals, and characters to create an integrated whole that was torture to put down. If you like a realistic story that is fantasy only in that powers exist beyond what our physics understands, this is the series for you (but of course, start at the beginning!).
