Everybody a superhero inside of them, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson's case, by shouting out one word, this streetwise fourteen-year-old foster kid can turn into an adult superhero, courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart, inside a ripped, godlike body, he revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! But he'll need to master these powers quickly to fight the deadly forces of evil.

Cute teen movie submitted by Xris on October 1, 2019, 11:22pm Maybe it was because we had to stop the movie a few times, but I was hoping it would be a bit funnier, or have more humor/depth for the adults. Still an entertaining movie. I'd watch another one.

Such a Great Movie submitted by jgerman79 on August 7, 2022, 7:05pm I loved that the teenager turned superhero actually still acted like a teenager while a superhero! Don't get me wrong, I love me some Spiderman, but Shazam! is just so much more how I expect a teen superhero would actually act!

This was fun submitted by kaymbre on July 29, 2023, 7:51am I thoroughly enjoyed watching "Shazam!" It's a refreshing take on the superhero genre with its humor and heartwarming moments. The charismatic performances, especially from Zachary Levi, brought the character to life, and the chemistry among the cast was evident. While the plot was entertaining, there were a few moments that felt slightly predictable. Nonetheless, the film's overall charm, well-executed action sequences, and impressive visual effects helped it stand above the usual DC superhero movie.
