Based on the inspirational true story of one mother₂s unfaltering love in the face of impossible odds. When Joyce Smith₂s adopted son John falls through an icy Missouri lake, all hope seems lost. But as John lies lifeless, Joyce refuses to give up. Her steadfast belief inspires those around her to continue to pray for John₂s recovery, even in the face of every case history and scientific prediction. A reminder that faith and love can create a mountain of hope, and sometimes even a miracle.
DVD, wide screen (2.39:1); Dolby digital 5.1 (English), Dolby digital 2.0 (Spanish, French).

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

A beautiful true story submitted by LVDS on August 19, 2019, 4:24pm God is still in the miracle business! Yes, it's about faith and yes, the story is somewhat predictable. But It's a refreshing change to see a hope-filled movie with love through the trials.

Well... submitted by sara on August 25, 2019, 4:12pm I watched the movie because I know the town in which it is set. Rather than any religious message, my take from the movie was to always speak positively in the room of anyone who is unconscious.

A "faith based drama" that does an OK job, but far from perfect. submitted by Tassos on December 8, 2019, 3:14pm I did see the whole movie, even though I did not like everything in it.

Obviously it was made with an agenda, but still it could be much better made.

The actors portraying the parents who adopted that kid from Guatemala or whatever are far younger than the true parents who are shown at the end of the movie.

The kid itself is played by a far more 'photogenic' youngster than the actual survivor.

The pastor who is 30 and looks 20, looks nothing like the actual, serious, middle-aged pastor. If the actual pastor stayed in the kid's hospital room for all these entire nights, the parents sure got their money's worth even just in moral support, even if his presence there did nothing to help the critically ill boy.

And on and on. See it and tell us what you think. But be specific.
