The lyrics are fierce and feminist and the music hits on the perfect balance of heavily distorted imperfection and forward momentum, sounding honest and hardscrabble while maintaining its form. This album has been a long time coming, and it’s an excellent testament to the lasting power of this particular brand of punk music.
