Laid-Back Jams submitted by Meginator on August 16, 2019, 7:09pm The general feeling of this album is that of a laid-back jam band, but I thought it lacked some of the vitality that generally drives this type of music. While the tracks are inventive and unique, with touches of country and folk here and there, many consist of a few clashing ideas that never quite come together. The Mekons have a musical sense all their own, but this album lacked an x factor for me.
