COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Slaughterhouse Rulez submitted by lstorc on August 1, 2019, 11:45pm Slaughterhouse Rulez is a wonderful comedy-horror film! There's not much suspense, but it's more in the same vein as Shawn of the Dead... so that's lovely!

What is the deal with the idiotic 'monsters' ruins a good movie and makes it fit only for dumb 10 year olds. submitted by Tassos on March 9, 2020, 10:14am Disappointing towards its end. Simon Pegg is a great actor and is WASTED in this silly movie.

Don't Take Yourself too Seriously submitted by caburr47 on July 1, 2020, 8:45pm This movie is silly, and really doesn't take itself too seriously, the actors really are playing some of the characters as stereotypes and caricatures, so go in knowing it is a silly comedy with some horror elements.

Pretty fun, but not great submitted by eilusk on July 8, 2023, 10:36pm This was an enjoyable horror-comedy, but not a great one. The tone was similar to Pegg and Frost's Cornetto Trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End), but it wasn't nearly as clever or funny. There were a few cool action sequences (I particularly liked the bit where one of the monsters lunges through a window and eats someone while partly covered by a curtain, and the car scene that came shortly after) but not much really exciting.
