Four (or More) Generations of Disney Television submitted by Meginator on July 20, 2019, 11:23am This compilation is packed with classic songs from Disney’s long and illustrious history in television, from the original Mickey Mouse Club theme to the standout singles from High School Musical and Camp Rock. Anyone who grew up with these shows will appreciate the instant hit of nostalgia, though the wide scope almost ensures that every listener will find a few tracks skippable (I was initially skeptical about some of the later tracks myself, but I suppose I have to concede that others might find the Disney Afternoon classics from my own childhood equally perplexing). Overall, this album is a fun time capsule that illustrates the evolution of televised entertainment (or at least Disney’s involvement therein) and pop music trends, with tracks that will appeal to, and delight, four or more generations of viewers.
