De-Mystified Pizza submitted by Meginator on August 31, 2019, 7:12pm Detroit-style pan pizza is the superior form of pizza, and this book offers tons of helpful, easily comprehensible information on how to make perfect pizzas at home. Reinhart clearly knows what he’s talking about, but never lets his expertise get in the way of clear explanations; he helpfully explains every aspect of the pizza-making process, from the fundamental differences between these types of pizzas to the necessary equipment and the dough-making process itself. Readers will do best coming into this book with some breadmaking experience, but from there it’s off to the races; the recipes are easy to follow and include some strange yet intriguing combinations of toppings. I highly recommend this book to anyone who appreciates this exemplary style of pizza.
