All-Time Great Film submitted by Meginator on June 19, 2019, 9:14pm Given its sterling reputation, and a host of personal recommendations, I expected great things from this film; still, it absolutely exceeded anything I could have possibly hoped for. The animation style is unique and riveting, the story has huge emotional depth balanced by plenty of humor, and the characters are richly developed even for viewers unfamiliar with the comics. The story is nicely complex without being confusing, and has plenty of twists that keep the plot moving along without ever feeling too clever. I loved the visual nods to comics, which show a real respect for the genre while successfully adapting its stories to a new medium. This film is unlike anything I’ve seen before, and I spent most of it with my jaw hanging open, absolutely loving the experience and reveling in its joyous celebration of all that is great about the various iterations of Spider-Man. This is absolutely brilliant, and an instant buy for me, because I can’t wait to see it again.

And I like the message that anyone can be Spiderman, it's just a leap of faith. They also got some great people to voice the characters in the movie. I hope they make another one...

I would definitely recommend this movie to any adult or child. They really are able to introduce and develop these characters in such a short amount of time. Miles is now my favorite spider-man!

Any complaints anyone has about this movie are probably because they get easily overwhelmed by visual stimulation.

But the animation and soundtrack take it over the edge while also being genuinely funny at several moments. I can't wait to see the sequel! Miles Morales is a really solid foundation of a spider-person.
