Cybertron has fallen. When Optimus Prime sends a transformer to defend Earth, his journey to become a hero begins. Charlie Watson, a teenager trying to find her place in the world, discovers and repairs the battle-scarred robot, who's disguised as a Volkswagen Beetle. As the Decepticons hunt down the surviving Autobots with the help of a secret agency led by Agent Burns, the transformer and Charlie team up to protect the world in an action-packed adventure that's fun for the whole family.

Entertaining! submitted by lmangus on July 1, 2019, 1:59am Some great action scenes, a bit of blooming attraction (appreciate the attention to consent), as well as great scifi graphics/art/etc. And the soundtrack is a wonderful collection of 80s favorites. Not to mention some fabulous reference and nods to classic 80s media. Was a bit disappointed in the slopping intro, completely ignoring the original Transformer history...with all bots already able to transform in forms they didn't originally take until after arriving on Earth, and a pursuit that seemed rushed. However, the overall story is endearing...and quite human.
