Bloom submitted by sara on June 19, 2020, 12:50pm Few words, many large and beautiful photos. In the back, it tells you more about each flower and where it grows. Wonderful for any age. Babies can even spot animals and insects hidden among the blooms.
come for the photos, stay for the natural history submitted by camelsamba on June 27, 2021, 10:59pm Lovely full page photo spreads of budding and blooming flowers. Don't miss the millipede on page 7 (or rabbit on p 9 if mammals are more your thing). After the almost wordless flower spreads, there are two pages talking in general about the different blooms and habitats in the book, and two pages describing what is captured in each spread. Come for the photos, stay for the science/natural history.
