There was no HD when these were made. submitted by lisa on July 10, 2022, 4:30pm The guy who plays Dalgliesh in this series---Roy Marsden---is really good at depicting a sort of quiet contemplative concentration, with an underlying thread of ambivalence and weariness. Not hard to imagine Dalgliesh as a poet, as he portrays him.
